I am so sorry for the death of Bruce Carter. And I am glad that he was able to see the area that was designated Holly Carter's Corner at the Poplar Creek Public Library. His love of Holly and the support that both Bruce and Holly brought to Polar Creek were so special and so great. Please know that both Bruce and Holly will be in my prayers and thoughts. I will always remember that when I was dating Glenn, Bruce was my protector and walked me to high school. We talked sci-fi and dogs. He was a wealth of knowledge since he was working at Gessner Kennel. Glenn and I were so glad to have him move to Florida after Holly passed. He was so lost. He often told us how he loved sitting in the warm sun and enjoying the waves and greetings of the neighbors. We miss your smile and your silly giggly laugh! RIP!

Thanks for the kind words and well wishes. Dad I'll miss you. For those who can visit them, after his cremation he and Mom's ashes will be put at the Florida National Cemetary.

Bruce was our friend and we loved both your mother and father. Bruce and Holly were an unbreakable “set”. He was one of the closest friends I have ever had. I called him my brother. He was as great a Patriot as I’ve ever known. He was an example for others to be positive. He was “a good man”.

This is also with our condolences for Bruce’s family and friends. The support you all offered Bruce after his loss of Holly was needed and appreciated. You kept him going when he was crushed by his loss and had nowhere to turn except to The Lord and those of you there for him. Thank you.

There is an old Tex Ritter song that suggests the husband will go first and will “walk just beyond the moon” and wait there for his loving wife. Bruce was the one who had to wait here, but just for a while. Through faith I believe there are two spirits who are together now and never really were separated.

God Bless you, Bruce. I love you too, my brother.
