I worked with Brad, at the Orange County Sheriff Office for many years. He was a great supervisor and leader and adviser. He had knowledge on everything you need to know. He and Angie taught my wife to ride a motorcycle. He will truly be missed
Capt Ken Wilson-OCSO ( Retired )
I knew brad from OCSO, we used to ride on occasion all over lake county and in Clermont before it became over populated. Brad was a good guy and a good friend. We lost touch after his retirement and when I saw this I was saddened. We had long talks and long rides. I really enjoyed his company. I think we clicked because we rarely talked about work. But we discussed life and everything else! My heart goes out to the family and I will be keeping a thought for you all.
I first started working with Brad in Sector 1. He was the corporal on the squad. I can’t remember a time when we didn’t laugh and enjoy our time together. Later he was my corporal in the Person’s Unit. Again we laughed and he was great to work for. Ride on brother and God bless you. Kelly Boaz
Brad and I were sworn in at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office with another guy Tommy Lowe, on 09/23/1985. I would run into Brad several times throughout our careers and I saw him a time or two after we retired. Brad was always an even keeled man and always had a great attitude. He loved life and my condolences and prayers go out to his family.

My condolences to Angie, Carlin and the kids. I too, like John, worked with Brad and Carlin at Arvada PD. Brad was one of my FTO's when I first started and he did a great job of showing me how to be a good street cop. Always enjoyed working with him and watching on day shift to see how close he could cut it for briefing in the mornings so he wouldn't be there too early. Every now and then he'd get caught by a train and would come in late and everyone would give him a hard time about it. All in fun though. Rest in peace my friend and thanks for all you did for everyone both here in Colorado and in Florida. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Frank Oschmann, Arvada PD 1979-2015.
Condolences to Angie, Carlin and the family. I worked with Carlin and Brad at Arvada PD while they were there. I was one of Carlin’s FTOs and worked patrol with Brad. He was good people. Orange County was lucky to have him. My wife and I offer our prayers and thoughts for you all. May you Rest In Peace Brad!! John Garavaglia, Arvada PD 1973-2000.
