Bobby Ray Green Sr.'s Obituary
Bobby Ray Green Sr. 84 of Tavares Florida, Passed away on Saturday February 17, 2024. Mr. Green was a member of Pine Meadows Country Club in Eustis, Eustis Elks Lodge and served in the Florida National Guard.
Bobby worked and retired from Hubbard Construction. He was the owner and operator of Lake Door and Trim prior to his final retirement.
Bobby loved football. He played for and was drafted out of the University of Miami. He was drafted by the St. Louis Football Cardinals into the NFL where he also played for the New York Giants. He went on to play in the Canadian football League and the Continental Football League where he played for the Charleston West Virginia Rockets and the Orlando Panthers.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Pasco and Annie and his sister Glenda. He is survived by his wife Karen O'Brien Green; Sons Bobby Green Jr., Sonny Wright Jr. and Austin Green; Daughters Deanna (Rick) Donohue, Lynn Ann (Amanda) Green, Peggy (Paul) Leonard and Kristi Mansfield; Grandchildren Hunter (Kristin) Green, Ryann (Wayne) Shreve, Ann Mansfield, Kamden Green, Chase Rimes, Billie (Scott) Bennett and Trevor Donohue. and 7 Great Grandchildren.
