Birdie Leona Pinner, age 85, of Tavares passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. She was born May 24, 1927 in Memphis, TN. She was a member of Southpointe Baptist Church, Leesburg and loved crafts. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Pinner of Tavares, FL; sons, Danny Pinner of Franklin, TN and Randall Pinner of Tavares, FL; daughter, Annie Higginbotham of Benton, AR; sister, Louise Hawks of Bartlett, TN; 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, FL.
