Billy Joe Brewer's Obituary
Billy Joe Brewer, 62, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Billy was born in Gideon, Missouri on February 7, 1958, to Billy Gene and Ruby Laura Brewer. Billy owned and operated his own trucking company in Mount Dora and was a member of Astatula Baptist Church. When he wasn't working, Billy was perfectly happy just spending time with his family. A true family man who would come looking for you or would give you a phone call asking where you were or why you hadn't checked with him or Dolly lately. Billy is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Dolly Brewer, sons; Joey Alan Brewer (Misty) of Mount Dora, FL., Justin Dain Brewer also of Mount Dora, Fl., two sisters; Barbara Ann Allen of Mount Dora, Florida and Sharon Stewart of Leesburg, Fl. Brother, David Brewer of Zellwood, Fl., six grandchildren; Jacqueline, Lacey, Joey, Tyler, James, Austin and three great grandchildren; Jace, Colton and Ryder. Billy was preceded in death by a brother: Steve Allen.
A gathering of friends and fellowship for Billy is scheduled for Saturday, October 10th from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at Astatula Baptist Church, 13239 Florida Ave., Astatula, Florida 34705. Billy's celebration of life services will then begin at 11:00 AM, with his place of rest at Astatula Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Billy's memory to the Astatula Baptist Church building fund, 13239 Florida Ave., Astatula, Florida 34705.
