Billie Jo Thomas' Obituary
Billie Jo Thomas, age 83, of Tavares passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014. She was born August 30, 1930 in Waynoka, OK and moved to Lake County in 1967 from TX. She was a retired elementary school teacher. She enjoyed rock collecting, gardening, and Elvis. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Thomas of Mt. Dora, FL; brothers, David Griffin of KY, Noel Griffin of IN, Thomas Griffin of GA; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 1:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444. Online condolences may be left on the Tribute Wall.
