I can never live up to the mother you were. Strong .. loving...stern....happy...happy....always happy joking fun loving... sincerely a rich soul wanting to share her heartfelt joy.
Mom loved to shop. Mom loved coca cola. Mom loved all her children. Mom forgave everyone. Mom did not like pretentious snobs and let her feelings be known. Mom loved everybody and they knew it. Mom was a great cook. Mom never ever let her kids wallow in pity or simply feel sorry for themselves. Mom kicked her children out of the house on cold saturday mornings: declaring " GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY"
You made me feel so happy. I wish I could tell you a joke but you know I can never remember them. Debbie still has your $2 in her visor and Patty still can't breathe without you. I remember picnics and sunshine and your cooking. Your angle food cake and poppyseed cake and we are still wanting to know who's got your cookbook?
A penny for your thoughts.
My MOM is still dancing ....Dad is with you now. I still can't talk about how much I miss you Mom. I finished your memorial stone that Dad was working on. I think you will like it. It will read:
