Beverly K. Tomlinson's Obituary
Mrs. Beverly K. Tomlinson, of Tavares, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the age of 57 years. She was born in Bartow, Florida and moved to the Tavares area in 1982 from Haines City, FL. Beverly was a homemaker and previously worked as head waitress and bar manager at O’Keefe’s Irish Pub and Restaurant in Tavares for over 10 years. She attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Mount Dora. Beverly loved to garden, especially flowers. She also enjoyed cooking, fishing, crocheting and sewing. Beverly is remembered by her husband of 32 years, Wayne; daughters, Detta (Darold)Byars of Astatula, FL, Tessie Hart (Scot Clark) of Tavares, Beverly K. Hart Coburn (Nicolas Penny) of Leesburg, FL, April Jordan (Jeff Collins) of Tavares, Leslie Jerrett (Joe Jones) of Weirsdale, FL, Diana Tomlinson of Georgia and Elita Tomlinson of Georgia; son, Jerry Myers of Texas; sisters, Theresa (Ricky) Hale of Tennessee and Judy (Kenneth) Curtis of Tennessee; brothers, Billy (Donna) Barnhill of Tennessee and Bobby Barnhill of Tennessee; grandchildren, Erica, Ashley, Jason “Boo”, Heather, destiny, Jr., Ariel and Jocelyn; as well as her best friend and “Earth Angel”, Sandy Thomas of Mount Dora, FL. The family invited friends to gather for a viewing on Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon, with the funeral ceremony starting at 12:00 noon, in the funeral home chapel.
