Beverly G. Cox's Obituary
Beverly G. Cox, age 98, of Apopka passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018. She was born September 13, 1920 in Windsor, CT and moved to Astatula in 1969 from Hollywood, FL. She worked for many years as a fruit grader and loved to crochet in her spare time. She was a member of Astatula Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Willard H. Cox, Jr. of Arizona, Wayne H. Cox of Hollywood, FL; daughters, Wendy Johnson of Apopka, FL, Wanda Lee of Astatula, FL; brother, Gary Merrill of California; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Astatula Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will follow at the church at 11:00AM. Interment will take place at Astatula Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444.
