Betty M. Bates' Obituary
Betty M. Bates, age 88, of Tavares, FL passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013. She was born August 27, 1924 in Nashville, IL. She grew up in Rock Falls, IL and lived there until 1969. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bates of Sterling, IL; parents, David and Agnes Williamson; and brothers, Leo and Lloyd Williamson of Rock Falls, IL. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bohm (Taylor) of Tavares, FL; sister, Wanda Sutton; sister-in-law, Carol Williamson; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Bridges Covenant Church, Tavares, FL. Inurnment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date.
