Betty Ann Sullivan's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Ann Sullivan, of Sorrento, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the age of 74 years. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama to Jesse Frank and Mary Mainor. She relocated to Florida from Chicago in 1975 and moved several times before she settled in Sorrento from Ocala in 2006. Betty was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother and wanted nothing more than to spend as much time as possible with the grandchildren she loved so dearly. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Joseph Sullivan in 1986. She is remembered by her daughter, Dorothy Jo Smith (Michael) of Eustis, FL; daughter, Cara Bailey (Patrick Reyes) of Melbourne Beach, FL; son, Mike Sullivan (JoAnne) of Escanaba, MI; son, Pat Sullivan of Apopka, FL; son, Jerry Sullivan (Kim) of Sorrento, FL; sisters, Elsie Linscott and Elizabeth Hill; brothers, Herbert Manior and William Manior; 7 grandchildren, David Daniel, Jeremy Bailey, Kyle Sullivan, Kayla Sullivan, Shannon Mammoliti, Meghan Mammoliti, and Brittany Reyes; and one great granddaughter, Hayli Daniel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the charity of your choice. A Mass was held on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 9:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora. Burial of the urn followed Mass at 11:30 am on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 East Burleigh Blvd. (Rt 441), Tavares, FL, 352-343-4444.
