Beth Sherry Olson's Obituary
Beth Sherry Olson, age 92, of Tavares passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016. She was born February 24, 1924 in Coffeyville, KS and moved to Lake County in 1976 from Dyer, IN. She was a retired school teacher. Beth was Past President of the Women’s Club and was on the Board of directors at the Triangle Boat Club. She was predeceased by her husband Ed Olson and brother, Eugene (Gene) Sherry. She is survived by her significant other, Jim Snyder of Tavares, FL; son, James Edward Olson of Raleigh, NC; daughters, Pat Trelinski of Los Angeles, CA, Barbara (Dave) Luke of Dolton, IL, Virginia (Leon) Charbonneau of Griffith, IN, Ruth (Len) Wooten of Masaryktown, FL; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 3:00PM until 5:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. Inurnment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers donations made be made to Cornerstone Hospice, Tavares, Florida. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444. Online condolences may be left on the Tribute Wall.
