Bertha Cruff's Obituary
Bertha Cruff, age 95 of Lake Francis Estates, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Edgewater Rehabilitation Center in Mount Dora. She was born in North Oxford, MA. on April 30th, 1915. Before she retired to Florida in 1980 from Feeding Hills,, MA. she worked at Milton Bradley in CT. She was a loving wife to her husband Ralph for 68 years who preceded her in death on October 25th, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her grandson Richard Chandler. She is survived by daughters Suzanne (James) Mitchel of Eustis, FL., Paula(Richard) Root of Tavares, FL., and Leslie (David) Robbins of Holmes Beach, FL.: 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Tavares, 124 North Joanna Avenue, Tavares, FL. 32778. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The Humane Society of Lake County, 11 North Eustis St. Eustis, FL. 32726. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 226 East Burleigh Boulevard, Tavares, FL. 32778.
