Bernice Theresa Pucino's Obituary
Bernice T. Pucino passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017, one day after her 80th birthday. She was born in Newburgh, New York, where she lived most of her life. She was married to Peter V. Pucino, to whom she was affectionately known as Bunny. Bernice was a homemaker, taking good care of her husband and raising her family in Newburgh. She was a loving and proud wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She and Peter moved to DeBary, Florida in the early 1990’s and later settled in Eustis. Bernice loved reading and working on Word Search puzzles. She was a Basketball and Tennis fanatic, often staying up all night to watch games and matches on television. More than anything, Bernice loved visiting with her children and grandchildren. She was always happiest when her family was around her.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Vito Pucino, whom she missed terribly since his passing. She was also preceded by her parents, Joseph and Mary Palmieri and her brother, Joseph Palmieri. Bernice is remembered and will be dearly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Brenda Pucino and Peter and Sandra Pucino; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Gary Wright and son, David Pucino; 10 grandchildren, Joseph Pucino (Stephanie Morace), Jesika Pucino (Cody Master), Robert (Sara) Pucino, Jacqueline (Jonathan) Rossi, Peter (Summer) Pucino, Michael (Ashley) Pucino, Alexandra Pucino, Gary Wright, Brittany Wright and Kimberly Wright; sister, Marie (Peter) Mule’, sister-in-law, Sharon Pucino and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her final resting place will be Florida National Cemetery next to her husband, Peter.
