Bernard F. Hallett's Obituary
Mr. Bernard F. “Bernie” Hallett of Eustis, FL passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the age of 85 years. He was born in Watertown, New York. At the age of 19 he joined the Army and served his country during WWII. Bernie retired from his career as a Draftsman. He moved to this area in the early 1990’s from Green Bay, Wisconsin. He was a member of St. Edward’s Episcopal Church in Mount Dora. Bernie also enjoyed bowling, building remote control airplanes and a good fish dinner at the Moose Lodge. He loved a good party and spending time with his family, friends and neighbors. Bernie had a great sense of humor and loved a good joke. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is remembered by his wife of 11 years, Judy; sons, John (Ana) Hallett of Lakewood, WI and Bernie Jr. (Patricia) Hallett of Green Bay; daughters, Frances Parr of Navarre, FL and Suzanne Johnson of Green Bay; Judy’s daughter’s, who he loved like his own, Tana (Steve) Titland of New Port Richey, FL and Deann (Trey) Butters of New Smyrna, FL; as well as 8 grandchildren. A memorial ceremony was held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at St. Edward’s Episcopal Church at 3:00 pm. If you desire, flowers are being accepted or donations in his name to St. Edward’s Episcopal Church, 460 N. Grandview Street, Mount Dora, FL 32757. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Tavares, FL. Condolences may be left for the family by signing the guestbook below.
