Basdeo Haripal's Obituary
Mr. Basdeo Haripal of Tavares, Florida passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the age of 75 years. He was born in Guyana, South America and moved to New York in June, 1992. After several years he returned to his native, Guyana, returning to the states and settling in Tavares, Florida in April 2011. Basdeo was a retired Security Guard. He loved cooking and baking and especially loved driving. Basdeo is remembered and will be dearly missed by his children, Marilyn, Clifton and his wife, Lyn, Cindy, Carol, Eyon and Shon and his fiancé, Cherie Pires; siblings, Bebe, Glorie, Dolly, Pearly, Merlie, Alva, John, Joe and Roy; grandchildren, Anand, Andre, Angela, Ray, Rico, Randy, Renel, Deyon, Devon, Andre and Crystal; and great grandson, Malik, Jr. He was prededed in death by his parents, the late John “Pitton” Baldeo and the late Rookmin Baldeo; his wife, the late Betty Haripal; and his brother, the late Aaron Haripal. A viewing was held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm and on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm with a funeral ceremony starting at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial took place in Guyana. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Tavares, FL. Condolences and memories may be shared by signing the guestbook below.
