Barbara was in the Class of 1963 at Pine Plains Central School where her father "Ed" was my shop teacher in 7th & 8th grades. I graduated in the Class of 1961.

Barbara's mother, Helen, was my teacher both for 5th and 6th grades at PPCS and certainly my favorite. She often mentioned her two daughters and how proud she was of them. I never met Barbara but she definitely looks like her mom. Many condolences to her family.

The thing I loved the most about Aunt Barbara was how she did things her way. She unapologetically lived the way she wanted. This is inspirational in a world that still expects you to follow a formula for how to live. Let this be a lesson to young (and old) people everywhere.

Barbara was a very special person. She always had a smile. Her sister Judy has been my friend for years . I remember Barbara hanging around with us especially when her mother was baking! We would all sit around waiting for her mom’s delicious chocolate chip cookies . Her mom made the best cookies! Over the years Barbara kept in touch and she and Michael met us at the Saratoga Race Track which was one of their favorite places to be in the summer.
