Barbara Ann Bowers' Obituary
Barbara Ann Bowers, age 64, of Summerfield and formerly of Astatula passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012. She was born May 31, 1947 in Long Beach, CA and moved to Florida in 1977 from Missouri. She was Front Desk Manager in the Hotel industry and was a member of the Astatula Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, David Lee Bowers of Summerfield, FL; and son, Nathan (Deborah) Bowers of Ocala, FL. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Grabau, Jr. The family received friends at Astatula Baptist Church on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM. A Funeral Service followed immediately after at 11:00AM. Interment took place at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444.
