Audrey Richards' Obituary
Audrey left family and friends unexpectedly February 4th following a cardiac event. She was born in Queens N.Y. and moved to South Florida with her family as a child. As a child she worked and lived upstairs at her parents grocery store on Tamiami Trail in Miami. Many of their customers were Seminole Indians the original residents of South Florida. Audrey loved and rode horses with her brother Ralph who she was very fond of as a teenager. Her stories of how she and Ralph jumped on and off the train that passed very close to their house were captivating.
Audrey attended Tech High, majored in merchandising and married Mick her high school sweetheart. She had two children Linda and Steve who will remember their mother as a caring giving woman that prioritized their lives. Later known as Audi to her friends and co-workers at Baptist Hospital where she worked many years in the records department. Audrey made many lasting friendships before she retired.
Audrey recently relocated to Tavares Florida making her home at Osprey Lodge a beautiful place where she made and cherished new friends. Audrey always did things her own way and on her own time just as her passing to the afterlife.
