Arthur Stephens' Obituary
Arthur Stephens 80, of Ocala, passed away on April 12, 2019. He was born in Alapaha, Georgia and moved to Ocala from Lake County in 2012. Arthur was a Minister of the Church of God, a member of Crossroads Community Church of Ocala, worked as a School Bus driver for Lake County Public Schools for 17 years and had been a Staff Associate for Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Directors in Eustis and Tavares. He is survived by his wife Sallie Marlene Stephens, they were married for 26 years. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Eva Stephens of Andalusia, Alabama, his grandchildren, Kimberly Stephens, Alisha Johnson, Bryan Johnson, Kazz Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Jesse Renner, Gabby Renner and James Merritt, his great grandchildren, Sophie Stephens, Caleb Johnson, Cole Johnson, Savannah Hyder, Matthew Johnson, Bridgette Johnson, Sylas Johnson, and Rylee Johnson. Arthur was predeceased by his great grandson Ross Lane Stephens. The family will receive friends in the Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Tuesday, April 16th from 10 until 11 AM, funeral services will be held at 11 AM. The final resting place will be the Tavares Cemetery.
