Arthur Melvin Notz Jr. 68 of Groveland, Fl, passed away on June 30, 2025. He was born on January 9, 1957, in Eustis, FL, to his parents: Arthur Melvin Notz Sr. and Zettie Mae Notz Edwards. Arthur and Gladys married on May 3, 1975; he worked as an industrial maintenance mechanic in the agriculture industry. Arthur was a loving friend, husband, and father.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years: Gladys Leach Notz; children: Crystal (Richard) Notz Stephens of Webster, FL, Arthur Melvin Notz III of Groveland, FL. Two granddaughters: Savannah Pearl Stephens of Webster, FL and Rebecca Lynn Stephens of Webster, FL. Siblings: Carol (Gene) Messer of Citra, FL, Paul Notz of Dade City, FL, Donna Notz Mixon of Hollywood, FL, Steven Notz of Inglis, FL and Dallas Edwards of Elba, AL. Along with many other loving family members.
A gathering with a viewing will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home in Tavares, FL. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 11:00AM at the Astatula Baptist Church in Astatula, FL.
