Arlene L. Yager's Obituary
Mrs. Arlene L. Yager of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the age of 82 years. She was born in Gladwin, MI. She and her husband, Jerry, have been snowbirds to this area from Beaverton, MI for over twenty years and became permanent residents 3 years ago. Arlene was an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in Beaverton and a member of Lake Square Presbyterian Church in Leesburg. She was a life member of the Eastern Star, was a hospice volunteer and enjoyed Golf. She is remembered by her husband of 61 years, Jerry; son, Bob (Sheila) Yager of Allentown, PA; daughters, Jan (Kerry) Posey of Beaverton and Berta (Dan) Kellan of Leesburg, 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A memorial ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 11 AM at Lake Square Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Lake Square Presbyterian Church Children’s Ministry, 10200 Morningside Dr., Leesburg, FL 34788. Arrangements are entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Tavares, FL. Condolences and memories may be shared on the tribute wall.
