Annabeth Hart Grove's Obituary
In Loving Memory
It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of, Annabeth (Betsy) Grove, who departed this life on August 22 at the age of 77. Despite her hardships, she remained resilient and hopeful. Betsy left this world peacefully.
Born on December 2, 1947, she spent most of her life working in the financial and insurance industries. Betsy found greatest joy in pursuing her equine passion and love of dogs and leaves behind memories that will be treasured by her loving family: children, Sean Peters and Marci Lowes; Adrian Lowes (son-in-law); granddaughters, Annabeth Henderson and Megan Clark; Austin Clark (grandson-in-law); great grandchildren, Alistair Lazarakes, Adelaide Lazarakes, Maverick Clark and Roman Clark.
Though our hearts mourn the loss of Betsy, we will honor her life by remembering the laughter, love, and lessons shared. Her life was not without its challenges; her legacy of love and resilience continues to inspire us every day. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
A private celebration of Betsy’s life will be held later, where the family will gather and share stories, and commemorate a remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Equine Rescue of Aiken (https://aikenequinerescue.org), a cause close to Betsy’s heart.
May Betsy rest in peace and may we find comfort in the legacy she leaves behind.
