Alan was a very kind person and always the quintessential gentleman. He was part of the inaugural "boot camp" led by Capt. Ken Birkhofer for City employees and we had a lot of fun while trying to get fit. He was a lot more successful at it than I was but he always encouraged the rest of us. Rest in peace!
My very deepest condolences to the family of Allan. Allan was my coworker and my friend. We had some really good conversations over the years, took classes together, and joked that I was his work wife. I loved Allan as a dear friend and he will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Allan.
