A. Jackson "Jack" Gooch's Obituary
A. Jackson “Jack” Gooch, 92, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on December 17, 2024. He was born in Ludlow, KY on April 9, 1932, to his parents: Clarence and Dorothy (Horton) Gooch. Jack worked in many professions but enjoyed interior painting, decorating and working with people the most.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years: Jacqueline Gooch; sons: David (Kathy) Gooch, Stephen (Cyndi) Gooch, Terry (Lisa) Gooch and Larry (Jannelle) Gooch. 7 Grandchildren: Mark Gooch, Scott (June) Gooch, Brad (Erin) Gooch, Kristen (Andy) Fustos, Kimberly (Luke) Beattie, Alexander (Gabrielle) Gooch and Danika Gooch; and 10 Great- grandchildren. Sister in law: Marilynn Knasko. He was preceded in death by his brother: Donald Gooch.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 12:00PM – 1:00PM at the Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home in Tavares, FL, with a service to begin at 1:00PM. The family will have a private committal service afterwards.
