Geneva McDonald, age 79, of Leesburg passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012. She was born November 30, 1932 in Kirkland, GA and moved to Central Florida in 1951. She was a retired corrections officer, a member of the Adventure Christ Read Obituary
I worked with Geneva at the Orange County Jail. I loved her. She was just an absolute joy to be around. She loved her family and I was privileged to be able to share in that joy on several occasions. I will never forget her and I remember her with those fond memories.

Every time we talked she always asked about every member of the family - she was so concerned about others. My dearest memory of such a sweet southern lady Geneva, was Thanksgiving so many years ago. She welcomed me into her home for such a large spread, we could have fed an army ! But that day she also tought me how to clean greens, using an old washing machine on low speed , " very smart idea, it wash them and cut them ".
