I had the pleasure of working with Matt and his wife Cherie for a brief period of time. I immediately took a liking to them both and knew what a man he was. Cherie and family, I am so sorry for your loss!

There are some people you meet in your life who will always take time for you. Matt was one of those men. I had the privilege of playing softball, basketball with Matt as well as fishing and even a mission trip. To say he was a great role model to those who knew Matt would be an understatement. My prayers go out to his wife and kids, brother and sisters, brother in law and in particular Denny and Marsha. We all know he is as happy as he possibly could be with his Savior, but also know the sorrow of those left behind will not heal overnight. Rest in peace Matt and to the family my constant thoughts and prayers.
Matt was a very special brother in Christ and a dedicated servant of the Lord. We were blessed to have him in our lives, and look forward to that glad reunion day when we shall be together forever in our heavenly home.
