Rafaela Treviño of Astatula passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the age of 88 years. She was born in Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico and moved to this area from Brownsville, Texas in the 1970’s. Rafaela was a very hardworking individual and worked at the mushroom plant in Zellwood for many years until she reluctantly retired. Rafaela was resilient, kind, compassionate, and very giving. She was a friend to all that met her. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was well known in the community. She really enjoyed when friends would stop by to visit and talk. Rafaela was preceded in death by her husband, Rito Treviño in 1994. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her children, Ramona Rodriguez of Sorrento, FL; Daniel (Ana) Treviño of Lake Jem, FL; Concepcion Sanchez of Eustis, FL; Raquel (Alan) Daniels of Leesburg, FL; Gerardo (Julia) Treviño of Dallas, TX; Alicia Valdez of Sorrento, FL; Federico (Perla) Treviño of Zellwood, FL; and Ruben (Kathleen Smith) Treviño of Ocala, FL; brothers, Federico Viramontes and Juan Viramontes, both of Mexico; grandchildren, Elisa Valdez, Esmeralda Cruz, Jessica Valdez, Angela Lamb, Clemente Rodriguez, Marivel Filippini, Irene Rodriguez, Guadalupe Sanchez, Maribel Pagan, Adan Jr. Sanchez, Danny Lee Treviño, Victora Treviño, Joshua Treviño, Eric Treviño, Kira Treviño, Samara Treviño, Kendra Treviño , Alexis Rodriguez, Rafael Daniels, Ashley Pettis, Tj Chinn, and Rebecca Horsley; great-grandchildren, Ramon Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez, Jarrid Lamb, Jadyn Lamb, Sol Lamb, K. Rafaela era una persona muy trabajadora y trabajó en la planta de hongos en Zellwood durante muchos años hasta que se retiró. Rafaela fue resistente, amable, compasiva y muy generosa. Ella era amiga de todos los que la conocieron. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos y era muy conocida en la comunidad. Disfrutaba mucho cuando sus amigos la visitaban para platicar. Rafaela fue precedida en la muerte por su esposo, Rito Treviño en 1994.
