Mike, I do not know where to begin, you’ve been a great friend to Brad and me over the years and we have made memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. The hand you were dealt has not been easy but you persevered in spite of the obstacles. I take solace in knowing that you have been reunited with your beloved mother that was also taken too soon. We are still in shock that you are no longer on this earth but we are very thankful you are no longer battling with everything. If I would have know that Thursday was going to be the last time we seen and talked to you I would have let you talk for hours and let Jake spend more time that night. You gave me the most precious gift of life and that is Jacob. I know you adored him and I promise he will be taken care of and your memories will live forever. We will see you again one day. There is one thing for certain about you Mike and that is you LOVED life and your son..
Your heart was big and you had no problem letting people know. When I blew my knee out, you came by daily to ask if you could help in any way and I’ll never forget that!
The Friday nights woods shenanigans, bonfires and fun times will forever be cherished. We hadn’t been so close the last few years due to hectic life events but every time we spoke, we always picked right back up where we left off. Godspeed to you my friend… keep watch over all of us down here xoxo
