To Joyce's family - you have my condolences. I go to visit my mother almost every day at Waterman Cove up the road from Joyce's home. I'd always blow my car horn and wave at her. We've known each other for years as we both worked for Lake County School Board and belonged to the Educational Office Professionals. I miss seeing her as I pass each day. Mr. Abney,The service was beautiful for your Mama and was evidence of how she touched the lives of many people. Although I didn't see her often through the years, she never changed from being the loving person that she was when I first met her.The last thing she said to me when I saw her last was "Tattoo, just pray for me and my family." My heart goes out to each and every one of you. She will be greatly missed. Aunt Joyce was a one of a kind and "special" isn't even a word that comes close to what she was.
