Jeri Gale Bible Horn Jeri Horn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a caring community member, and an avid crafter and baker who loved travel, fishing and college basketball. Jeri married Ray while both were serving in the U.S. Army in Alaska. She served in the Army from 1977-81 as a Clinical Specialist. After a short time, Jeri left the military to become a full time wife and mother. Their tour of duties led them to reside in Germany for several years. Ray and Jeri have three children, Michael (Kristy), Daniel, and Stacy (Casey). They also have four grandchildren, Tyler, Conner, Jackson and Finley. She was devoted to her family and loved baking cookies and making care packages for the grandchildren (and friends). While raising the children, she coached the local soccer team. Jeri grew up in a loving, large family. She had six brothers and sisters: John (Janice) Bible, Jean (Jerry) Price, Jim (Vonnie) Bible, Jane (Lon) Roop, and Janet Bible. A sister, June, preceded her in death. She loved her brothers and sisters, loved spending time with them on vacations, and never met a stranger. She held job roles in banking, catering and sales. A caring community member, she was involved with many activities in the Fox Run 55+ Community. She served as vice president in the Social Committee, was a member of the financial committee, co-hosted the annual cookie exchange and ladies tea, and for several years handled the nominating committee for Fox Run Board of Directors members. She managed the kitchen for the Community Sale, played bingo, and was instrumental in upgrading the community pool furniture and helped locate the new entrance signs. She liked to go on boat club outings and dancing to music at the community parties. She will be sadly missed by her family and Fox Run friends and acquaintances. After a private family memorial, a public memorial with full military honors will be held at Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at a date to be announced later.
