He has always been "Uncle Tony" to all of the Meyer children, as Uncle Tony remained a close friend of our family through the years. I can recall many memories of Uncle Tony. From the times when I traveled with Uncle Tony and my dad (Larry Meyer) to Cecilia for a RC Cola and a Moon-Pie. I can remember a time when we took time to walk some land that Uncle Tony owned...this is where we found a twisted tree limb that became my first walking stick. I can recall my first bicycle...Uncle Tony gave me a small red Schwinn bicycle that was used by his children when they were younger.

We have not seen Uncle Tony in years, however the memories continue to stay alive in my mind and heart...as he was a very giving man. He will be missed by so many!

Tony was the first person we met when we moved to Mount Dora from South Florida in 1999. He was our realtor and patiently worked with us over many weekend house-hunting trips until we found our home. During those many weekends, we had the opportunity and pleasure to get to know Tony. We admired his professionalism and appreciated his sense of humor. He treated us as friends, introduced us to Sue, invited us into his home, and pointed us in the direction of Mount Dora Pizza. It is our privilege to have known this delightful gentleman.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Sue and to all of Tony and Sue's family members.

The photo of Tony is terrific - just as we remember him.

I had the Pleasure to meet Tony and Sue very briefly , but they gave me a gift I will never forget, and that gift is Love. This is my memory ...I was at AT&T and a couple sat down behind me. I heard the gentleman say to his wife he was having a hard time breathing , she put her hand on his shoulder and said are you okay? Take a deep breath . He then put his hand on top of hers and rubbed her hand then reached up and kissed her on the cheek. It warmed my heart. I was thinking to my self wow, look at them so much in love . That in itself was an honor to witness . This is one of the memories I hope Sue remembers; It is the one he would want. I will cherish it always - his pure love for her. In my brief time with Tony he gave me a gift & I will honor and cherish it always. Thank You Tony and Sue Thank you .
