I shall never forget her kindess as she visited me while I lay in Walston Army hospital in Ft. Dix, as a brand new soldier. I was in danger of dying from double pneumonia and Teenie was the only family that could visit me. she was wonderful. I shall never forget her or her family.
My most vivid memory of Aunt Teeny is when she and I visited the nursing home where Uncle Mike resided. She showed such devotion to him even when he was not evenly apparently cognizant. It was truly touching to see her embrace him and make sure that the staff was meeting his every need. Mike responded with a big smile which was touching to see. She was a wonderful wife and, I am sure, a superb Mom! God Bless she and Mike in their eternal resting place!
