Red was a great friend and mentor. He was one of the first lawyers I worked with while clerking at Cauthen, Robuck and Hennings in Tavares while I attended law school. His door was always open for legal advice and personal advice. I will always remember him fondly during my days as a young law student and then as I had the distinct privilege of practicing before him while he served as County Court Judge. Whether in a law office, on a golf course or in the courtroom Red was a fine example of he type of friend, person and lawyer any man should strive to be. My sincerest condolences to the Boylston family. As a former law enforcement officer in Lake County, I had the "privilege" of appearing in Judge Boylston's courtroom on numerous occasions over the years.
