Many years ago our family discovered our favorite restaurant in Glenview Illinois; Matty’s Wayside Inn. And with our discovery, we met Matty and he became a very favorite friend.
We had joy, and much laughter, we shared holidays, vacations and many boating trips at Fox Lake. We are grateful for those many years.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Matty's family. He will truly be missed but never forgotten. As friends for about forty years, we will cherish that friend always. Matty was almost always a happy, friendly gentleman and stayed in touch with us threw the years. From several visits to the Wayside Inn, getting together at the Hallandale Beach, sports events or just going to lunch or dinner together were always pleasant times spent with Matty. Thank you Matty!

When I first met Matty in 2002 he used to say "one and done". Two more later he'd say "one and done". Gosh we had such a great time over 17 years.
