Marvin & June were my special friends for over 60 years. Will miss them terribly. I remember Marvin was able to fix all kinds of things. He even bought an old bike and fixed it for Henry. He was so very thoughtful. I will always remember all the great times we had together. He is now with his beloved wife. Love you Marvin
Marvin was a BIG bright light in our lives back in the late eighties and early nineties. We were building across the road from him and June in Cashiers, NC. Harry would work until dark but I would quit and sit on the deck where Marvin would join me and entertain this tired girl for an hour or so every afternoon. He would take his tractor and trailer down the road and bring back rocks to decorate our flower beds. June would walk her dogs down the road and sometimes I could join her in a cool walk. We missed them so much when they decided to give up their place but we could never ever forget them. Thank you, Kay and Jim, for keeping us informed about some of our favorite friends over the years.
