Dale Thrasher was great man. his love for his wife, children, and extended family was boundless. Additionally he was dedicated to his faith, community and neighbors. My family and I were blessed to have known and enjoyed time with this larger than life man. He was much more than an uncle, or relative, he was an inspiration of what it means to be selfless and and loving to all. He served to unite, rather than divide. I share in the grief with the passing of this family leader, Truly, the elder statesman. I am convinced, god has a special place for men of his caliber. He remains loved, very much, by all of his extended family here in Florida.

I did not know Jo's Dad but heard about him often. He had a large family of boys and girls that loved their parents very much. It has been a hard couple of years. All a part of the life cycle.
Remember the good times and what reminds you most of your Dad. Will be hard at first but in time... Sending lots of hugs and prayers from Raleigh!
