My heart is broken. They don't make them any better than Art. So happy him and Bob reconnected from a class reunion book. That was the beginning of the second part of their friendship. Added bonus was Barb and I were both Polish. So thrilled to death when they moved into Leona Heights right around the corner from us. We shared so many good times together. Whenever I hear the word "succulent" I will think of Art. Remember the Halloween's with a fire pit in their backyard and of course the accordion. Art was a stitch. Bob played poker with him, went fishing, etc. They had a pool when we didn't and were invited to numerous pool parties. They were always warm and welcoming. Art loved his wife, children and grandchildren and was so very proud of all them. I am honored to have known him and to be welcomed into his family.
Bob and I watched the funeral service. Kudos!!! It was very moving! Could pick out all the family. Again, breaks our heart we could not be there. Art will remain in our thoughts and prayers always. Barb you will be our friend forever. Please remain in touch.
